Splendid antique standing ashtray, combining a base and a sculpted shaft in gilded brass representing a stylized fish and a circular onyx bowl, topped with an elegant baroque handle. Its flamboyant aesthetic clearly evokes the codes of the Hollywood Regency style, with its golden accents, sinuous lines and decorative pageantry, typical of the 1950s-1970s. An exceptional decorative object, both rare and original, it seduces as much by its sculptural presence as by the quality of its materials.
