Green veined onyx table lighter. Italy or France, circa 1970. Polished green onyx with white and honey veins, fitted with a golden metal mechanism with a wheel. Baluster shape resting on a circular base, typical of mid-20th century salon objects. Height: 11 cm. Diameter: 7 cm. Mechanical ignition lighter, designed as both a utilitarian and decorative object, often associated with hard stone desk or smoking sets. Unmarked, common decorative production from the post-war period. Not tested.
