Old gilded mirror, 120x180 cm

Golden mirror with gold leaf, 180 cm high (including pediment) and 120 cm wide. The mirror had destroyed parts that I restored by myself with the same technique used by the gilders (restoration using molding and plaster of paris). The destroyed parties have been repainted and are therefore not gold leaf. Imperfections are visible in the photos. It remains a magnificent mirror from the 1900s that will make its effect above a fireplace or in a living room or shop. The mirror is then not in a perfect was preservation. The rest of the mirror is gilded with fine gold. The gilding is the original gilding. Large antique mirror dating from the 1900s with a mercury mirror and an original parquet back.
