Pilastro magazine rack by Tjerk Reijenga – black metal and yellow mesh

Vintage magazine rack published by Pilastro and attributed to the Dutch designer Tjerk Reijenga, an iconic figure of 1950s/60s modernist design. It consists of a black tubular metal structure with original end caps, combined with a perforated yellow metal mesh, characteristic of Pilastro's productions from this period. Its graphic and airy line gives it an elegant presence while remaining visually light. Both functional and decorative, it will fit perfectly at the end of a sofa, next to an armchair, or in an office, to hold magazines, newspapers, or books. Condition: Overall good vintage condition. There are signs of use consistent with age: slight marks on the black structure and small losses of yellow paint in places (see photos). The structure is sound and stable. Beautiful authentic patina.
