Pair of Lucinelle Ladybug Lamps by Vitrac – Wall/Table, 1970s France

This original pair of Lucinelle lamps was created by Jean-Pierre Vitrac in France in the late 1970s. Designed in red ABS plastic with black dots, and white opaline diffusers, these playful ladybug-shaped lamps are true to the joyful spirit of the Space Age movement. Both lamps can be installed as wall lights or used as table lamps, thanks to their built-in support. The movable wings add an interactive dimension, allowing the light to be shaped to your needs. They are entirely original, from the E14 sockets to the wiring. They come in excellent vintage condition, with only light signs of age: a few surface scratches and subtle tonal differences between the diffusers. A rare find for collectors of pop design and retro lighting.
