Louis Poulsen VL Studio medium table/floor lamp. Designer: Vilhelm Lauritzen. The VL Studio family is derived from a lamp design created by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for Radiohuset, Copenhagen's former radio station, in the 1940s. The lamp was relaunched in 2022, retaining the materials and style of the original wall lamp head. It is made of lightly brushed polished brass and three layers of polished white opal glass. It is also available in a matte black finish for a more graphic and minimalist look than the polished brass version, which has a softer, warmer appearance. The untreated brass will develop a patina over time. The table lamp series is available in three different sizes, which can be used as a floor lamp or as a table lamp, depending on the requirements.
