Soup tureen in earthenware from Digoin and Sarreguemines

Antique soup tureen with lid in French faience from Digoin Sarreguemines. Discreet relief patterns, a rosebud represented at the top of the lid, and scrolls on the handles. Simple central foot with a diameter of 14 cm. Creamy white ceramic in very good condition, with a crackled glaze and some areas darkened, normal wear over time, but no chips. Dimensions: Maximum width at the handles: 27 cm. Height with lid: 25 cm, without lid: 15 cm. Depth: 21 cm.
