Antique captain's swivel chair on a draft horse wheel from around 1760.

We are delighted to offer this very rare and highly collectible draft horse wheel dating from around 1760, transformed into a swivel captain's chair made of solid elm. A very aesthetic and decorative chair, unique in its kind. The hub of the wheel now forms the central base of the chair, allowing for rotation, while the rest of the wood is entirely reclaimed from the same pieces and has a sublime appearance. The chair functions perfectly, has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. It is a primitive piece with a lot of charm and patina.
