A crystal vase by Moser from the 1930s is an example of the Art Deco style, emphasizing precision of form and austere decorativeness. Made in Karlsbad (now Karlovy Vary) by the Czech manufactory known for luxury glassware, it is crafted from faceted crystal in a cool blue shade, gradually transitioning from a more intense color at the base to almost transparent at the rim. The thick, shiny walls are decorated with a regular arrangement of horizontal and vertical cuts in the form of rectangular panels, emphasizing the geometric and architectural character of the object. The form is slightly flared at the top, and the whole rests stably on a solid base. The vase has no additional decorations or elements from other materials, reflecting the modernist purity of the era. The Moser signature confirms its origin. Condition: very good, with no visible losses or signs of restoration. The faceted walls of this vase echo the era of great change – when Art Deco combined cool precision and a love of luxury. Light refracts through the cut surfaces, creating an effect of microarchitecture embedded in crystal. Its mass and proportions evoke associations with city skyscrapers and the refined style of the interwar years. The light blue and pure form suggest calmness and confidence – just as 1930s design brought to home spaces and artists' salons. The Moser vase can be displayed on a veneered wood chest of drawers or a minimalist polished metal table to bring out the cool tones and shine of the crystal. It looks good both solo, as a central decoration, and among other glass vessels from the Art Deco era. It can be paired with a geometric lamp with chrome details or a delicate textile runner in a subdued color. It fits best in classic or eclectic collector's interiors, where the past meets the bold geometry of the 1920s and 1930s.
