Pair of large pressed glass vases with geometric patterns by Sklo Uni

Date: 1950s these two slightly tapered vases are made of thick clear pressed glass. They have a typical mid-century design. They are decorated with alternating rows of round optical 'lenses' and raised diamond shapes. The rims are crenellated. One of the vases is 1 cm taller and narrower than the other; this difference is slight and would be invisible when filled with flowers. These catalogued vases (number 2102/250) are manufactured by the czech factory in libochovice, which became part of the sklo union group. Condition: good dimensions: 22 and 21 cm high, 13 and 14 cm diameter at the top.
