Two rare fabric and fiberglass easy chairs in very good condition. Designed by Alberto Rosselli in 1971 and manufactured by Saporiti in Besnate, Italy. The chairs feature a black lacquered fiberglass shell base with a hollow backside, covered with two fabric cushions. Four chromed feet support the base, giving the chairs a sleek look. Originally published in Domus magazine (No. 500, July 1971, p. 73), the design reflects the era’s futuristic optimism and Rosselli’s pursuit of functional elegance. With their low and deep seating, these chairs remain both visually striking and exceptionally inviting. The chairs were professionally reupholstered with a high-end green ‘Yeti’ fabric by Pierre Frey Paris, composed of 61% wool, 15% mohair, 14% alpaca, and 10% polyamide.
