Alsatian terrine vintage in glazed earthenware – decorated with geese from Soufflenheim

Antique oval terrine in glazed earthenware, decorated with hand-painted white geese in the spirit of traditional pottery from Soufflenheim, Alsace, mid-20th century. Beautiful deep blue glaze adorned with a frieze of stylised geese with red beaks and feet, typical of culinary and decorative country ceramics. Generous shape with a domed lid featuring a central handle and integrated side handles. This piece evokes the warm atmosphere of rustic Alsatian kitchens, blending popular craftsmanship, family home, and cottage aesthetics. Dimensions: approx. 25 × 15 × 13 cm. Very good overall vintage condition. Note: a small non-structural chip on the interior (visible in the photo), with no impact on the exterior aesthetics or presentation.
