Very elegant off-white ceramic trinket tray from the 1950s, resting on three conical feet of fine and elegant workmanship. This piece features the modernist lines typical of the work of Marcy, a ceramicist listed among the stoneware ceramicists of Puisaye in the famous region of Saint-Amand en Puisaye (Nièvre). With its beautiful, stylized, hand-painted decoration, it is a beautiful expression of 1950s French design, blending craftsmanship and abstraction. In very good condition, with no chips or breakages. It will make a beautiful decorative object or trinket tray on a console table, desk, or shelf. Dimensions: L21.5 X W7.5 X H3cm.
