An oil on canvas with a knife, landscape, depicting the Verdun bridge, St Maurice cathedral, and the Angers castle above the Maine. Signed Tirault at the bottom right. Beautiful framing. Period: 20th century. Dimensions: framed 38.5x43.5 cm, visible 21x25 cm. Very good condition. Rémy Tirault (1946 - ), French painter. Born in Angers. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Rémy TIRAULT held his first solo exhibition in 1967 after already participating in numerous salons. A graphic designer and painter since that time, his life has been dedicated solely to the graphic arts. In 1981, he became interested in antiques and opened a shop, later creating an Art Gallery in Angers, the "Galerie 5" at 5 rue Montault, where he hosts quality artists. At the same time, he holds numerous solo exhibitions of his works and participates in major salons throughout France, earning him many awards.
