Brutalist ensemble in solid oak: monastery table + 6 chairs, 1970.
Beautiful dining room set in solid oak, in the brutalist spirit of the 1960s-70s. The table rests on a sculpted central base, assembled with visible wooden keys and dowels, showcasing solid and entirely massive craftsmanship. The top, made of wide planks, has a lovely patina from use and softened edges. The 6 matching chairs feature the same design language: high slatted backs, sculpted cutouts at the top, visible dowels, and solid wood seats. The set is healthy, stable, and ready for use. It has been cleaned and nourished with antique wax, without stripping or sanding, to preserve its original patina. Dimensions: Table: L [180] × W [90] × H [75] cm. Chairs: Total H [102] × Seat H [50] cm. Condition: good overall condition, patina and signs of use consistent with the age of the furniture.
