Modernist sideboard 1960

A 1960s sideboard in the spirit of modernist French design. This piece combines a black lacquered metal base with a mahogany veneer body, characteristic of this creative period. The piece offers functional storage with a sliding-door compartment equipped with shelves, a drawer, and a drop-leaf compartment perfect for use as a bar. The black metal handles match the base, while the wooden feet provide a neat finish. The top had some veneer chips and was restored by a specialized cabinetmaker in our workshop. Some signs of wear are visible on the structure, testifying to its history – details visible in the photographs.
