Antique Italian corner buffet from around 1880 in hardwood with boxwood inlay and mirror.

We are delighted to offer for sale this charming little Victorian Italian corner buffet from around 1880, made of rosewood inlaid with accents of boxwood and original mirror plates at the back. An elegant and well-made piece, very decorative, featuring typical Italian Renaissance inlays with urns and flowers. The base unit has a carved fretwork panel reminiscent of Thomas Chippendale. The back top includes four period bevelled mirrors, beautifully patinated. In terms of condition, the piece has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished from top to bottom, showing normal signs of patina related to age and use.
