6 antique fives-lille oyster plates, circa 1890, turquoise majolica, rare collector's plates. 6 antique oyster plates, turquoise majolica, rare collector's plates made by fives-lille, circa 1890. These plates are hand-painted in a turquoise blue color with pale pink edges. The central sauce well is surrounded by six scalloped-edged wells, formed in deep relief with a beautiful iridescent coloring. The plates are in excellent condition, apart from 4 minor chips (2 on one plate, 1 on two others) and some tiny enamel defects (see photos). Diameter - 22.5 cm mold mark 4053 and decorator's mark "p" (5 plates) and "m" (1 plate) hand-painted.
