The Orange Slice is a design classic from the 1960s by designer Pierre Paulin for Artifort. This lounge chair is characterized by its sculptural form. In 1952, Paulin became fascinated by the technique of bending plywood, which formed the basis for the design of this F437 armchair. Thanks to its striking resemblance to orange segments, the armchair quickly earned the nickname “Orange Slice.” This example has a new interior and has been meticulously reupholstered in the red wool Tonus fabric from Kvadrat. There are minor signs of wear on the metal frame. Timeless Dutch design with a new look! Quantity: this item is unique and only one piece is in stock. Period: 1960s.
