Description
Series of seven collectible dessert plates, in French Gien earthenware. This is a special creation published for the 25th anniversary of the company "l'anjou vinicole". The plates are decorated with the most famous castles of Anjou, castles of the Loire: Angers (2 plates), Saumur, Chenonceaux, Loches, Chinon and Amboise. Only one of the plates (amboise) has the Gien stamp on the reverse, the other 6 being marked with the anniversary event. The plates date from the 1970s based on the design of the stamp on the back of one of the pieces (stamp used by the Gien faiencerie from 1971 to 1984). Diameter: 19 cm. Height: 2 cm. Weight of the whole: 1,800 kg. Excellent condition of 6 plates: no chips, no cracks. Note: the "amboise" plate has a chip on the reverse, not visible from above (photo with red arrow).
