This set of three teak nesting tables was designed by Victor B. Wilkins for the British furniture manufacturer G-Plan during the 1960s. The set represents the Mid-Century Modern design characteristic of the period, combining functionality with a light, sculptural form. The tables feature distinctive curved bases and tabletops with rounded, reinforced solid wood edges. Their three different sizes allow the tables to nest neatly beneath one another, making the set compact and space-saving when not in use. The set has undergone comprehensive woodworking restoration. The wooden elements were stripped of the old coating, stained in an oak colour, and finished with a durable high-quality semi-matt lacquer, which protects the surface while enhancing the natural colour and grain of the wood.
