Carved solid Padouk chest of drawers 1950

Favorite for this magnificent indian chest of drawers brought back from india in the 50s. It is made of massive padouk entirely carved by hand. Raw wood matt oiled finish. Stable and solid healthy furniture. The drawers slide easily and are spotless. The furniture is of beautiful manufacture, it weighs quite heavy. Note a slight deformation of the tray on the corners.
