Bedside table by Pierre Guariche, circa 1968

With its versatile design, both bedside table and seat, this piece is characteristic of Pierre Guariche's creation for the furnishing of apartments in La Plagne and Bandol. It is made of U-shaped bent plywood, covered with a white laminate, and has a wood-veneered spacer. Provenance: La Plagne, a ski resort to which Guariche contributed greatly in the 1960s.
