Art Deco statue "The Victory"

Subject in bronze with a green patina nuanced with gold on a light grey marble base with hints of white. It depicts an athlete who has achieved victory as he extends his right arm holding a laurel branch, a symbol of victory at the Olympic Games of ancient Athens. It is in Art Deco style (first half of the 20th century) signed J. Darcourt, which is a pseudonym of Démeter H. Chiparus (1886-1946). In good condition.
