Mid-Century Modern Ceramic Vases by Carstens Tönnieshof, 1960s

A rare and exquisite pair of Mid-Century Modern ceramic vases by Carstens Tönnieshof, designed by Helmut Scholtis. These vases feature the sought-after Ankara décor in cyan blue and graphite grey with a satin matte finish. Handmade in West Germany circa 1960s, they are excellent examples of collectible West German art pottery. The handled vase (form code: 1507-27) measures 27 cm in height and 18 cm in diameter, while the lower vase (form code: 236-23) measures 23 cm in height and 19 cm in diameter. Both pieces bear the original West Germany markings and form codes. Perfect for collectors or enthusiasts of 20th-century ceramics.
