Vintage orange suspension by Carl Thore for Granhaga – Swedish design 1960

Magnificent Scandinavian pendant designed by Swedish designer Carl Thore for the Granhaga Metallindustri in the 1960s/70s. This iconic model stands out with its architectural structure in orange lacquered metal, a rare and vibrant colour typical of the Space Age era. The ingenious design of several concentric lampshades allows for a soft, warm, and completely glare-free diffusion of light. The lacquered interior reflects light to create a very soothing luminous halo, ideal above a dining table or in a vintage living room. Designer: Carl Thore (Sigurd Lindkvist).
