Art Deco vase from the 1930s, produced by the Niemen Glassworks in Poland, is an example of collectible craftsmanship with a timeless form. The thick-walled body is made of high-quality glass crystal coloured with manganese – the material's colour is a light, cool violet with moderate saturation. The surface is highly polished, shiny, and free of any additional decorations. The character of the vessel is defined by distinct, vertical cuts arranged in a geometric composition, enhancing the play of light and giving the form an architectural, sculptural dimension. The shape is compact, massive, with a slightly flared rim and a heavy, stable base. There are no other colours or decorations. The vase is in very good condition – no chips or major scratches, with minor signs of use and possible small air bubbles formed during production. The crystal surface and balanced form of this vase evoke the elegance typical of the 1930s: a time when geometry and light set the rhythm of home interiors. The precision of the cuts, their repetitive, vertical sequence, acts like small architecture – subtly bringing out the shine and shaping the surrounding space. This object seems to emphasise: less is more, and every detail is a conscious choice of the era, whose voice resonates in every surface break. The vase is worth displaying on a light, simple tabletop – oak, marble, or lacquered – where the play of light in the cuts becomes visible from the first glance. It can be combined with minimalist ceramics from the 1930s or placed solo, allowing the colour and texture to take centre stage. It works well in a living room in the spirit of Art Deco or late modernism, as well as in a geometric, contemporary arrangement – for contrast, you can add one strong accent: e.g., an amaranth flower or a simple, geometric lamp in satin nickel.
