Baroque beveled mirror with carved and gilded flowers

Superb and rare, all in real wood, carved in the old way and recently gilded, this mirror (circa 1930) recalls by these lines and its silhouette the most beautiful pieces of a rococo baroque that has retained all its presence, even if the sculptures here are full. This mirror has the particularity of being able to be presented either vertically or horizontally, depending on the use or according to the panel on which it will be placed. It also offers a valuable asset, as to the amplitude of the studs, as refined as they are tapered, and thus, they do not present an often large mass of framing in the pure rococo style, proportionally consequential vis-à-vis the mirror itself. Here, it is a form of lightness that emanates from its frame.
