Vintage Breton mini cups – HB & St Jean – 9 pieces

A Breton set with a pronounced graphic charm. This lot includes nine mini earthenware cups from the 1960s–70s, sourced from two iconic manufacturers in Brittany: – Six bicoloured mini cups in deep black and bright yellow, signed HB Quimper, identifiable by their handles adorned with small white reliefs. – Three more conical models signed Saint-Jean-de-Bretagne, model 2062, featuring a polychrome decoration blending ochre, green, and purple in a very typical neo-folk spirit of the era. The contrast of the glossy glazes, naive lines, and bold colours give them a true personality despite their small size. Dimensions: • Saint-Jean model 2062: diameter 4.5 cm – height 3.5 cm. • HB bicoloured: diameter 5 cm – height 2.5 cm. In excellent vintage condition, with glossy glazes, well-preserved colours, and slight signs of wear under the bases. Perfect for espresso, digestifs, or as a decorative accumulation on a shelf or side table. A set full of character, ideal for a bold holiday home decor or a contemporary neo-folk interior.
