Miniature Breton Treasures: 7 Quimper-Style Earthenware Cups. A breeze from Brittany blows across these seven small cups full of character. Their naive and colorful decor, typical of Quimper, immediately evokes the charming folk motifs of Finistère: stylized flowers, vibrant hues, handles and edges highlighted in blue. Each cup seems to tell a simple, popular, and joyful story, like an echo of the great earthenware factories of HB or Henriot, even if no signature here claims its origin. Diverted into decorative objects, placed on a kitchen shelf, or integrated into a collection of miniatures, they seduce with their spontaneity and rustic authenticity. We can almost imagine their use in a Breton dollhouse or in a cabinet of curiosities with regional accents. We love them for their irresistible Breton charm, in the old Quimper style, their rare and endearing miniature format, and their unstamped craftsmanship, which adds to their mystery and uniqueness. 6 are identical with a blue rim, the seventh has a red rim. Height: 3.5 cm - Diameter: 5 cm. Good vintage condition. Some small manufacturing irregularities, typical of unmarked artisanal productions. No visible chips, one of the blue cups has a hairline crack (see photo).
