Japanese storage furniture of the tansu type, made in the early 20th century, during the transition between the Meiji and Taishō periods. Originally designed for domestic use, it combines several storage solutions in a compact and functional format. The piece features sliding and hinged doors along with a series of front drawers, offering practical and modular organisation. The solid wood has a warm and deep patina, reflecting the passage of time and use, while highlighting the natural grain.
