19th century cabinetmaker's chair in louis 16 style. Exquisite bedroom chair, a little lower than a classic chair - note the lovely curvature of the backrest, the round seat a little wide and its reversible cushion, wooden pegs and fluted feet. Then comes the delicate and fresh luxury of sanderson's english chintz, a throw of roses dishevelled without being invasive. Comes from the attic rooms lined with flowers of a bourgeois house of burgundy. Seat height with cushion 41cm, seat diameter 45cm, backrest height 81cm.
