Incredible vintage chrome table by Guido Faleschini for Mariani, made in Italy and dating from the 1970s. Chrome-plated metal table with marble base and smoked glass top. It's truly splendid! Please note, I used photos taken from the internet because it's currently surrounded by other tables and objects in the current mess occupying my little cocoon, and therefore it really doesn't show off to its best advantage! The first photo is the correct one; the top doesn't have that yellowed color that you see in photos with a white background. It's a classic smoked glass top and is very thick (very heavy and high-quality!) Guido Faleschini was an Italian designer born in 1946 and died in 2016. He studied architecture at the University of Florence, Italy, before embarking on a career as an industrial designer.
