Beautiful Art Deco sauce boat, on a stand, made of Limoges porcelain, signed André François, period 1919-1934. André François was a manufacturer and decorator, owning several workshops in Limoges. He was awarded multiple times for his quality creations and decorated one of the three vases known as the "Negro vase, " one example of which is displayed at the Dubouché Museum in Limoges. This sauce boat bears the double stamp (manufacturer and decorator) A.F Limoges France. This model is very original, with its pattern and colours. You will, of course, use it to serve sauce, creams, or savoury biscuits, but also as decoration, to create a lovely seasonal floral arrangement, as a catch-all, or as a small storage solution in a retro kitchen or bathroom. It is in very good condition considering its age. No cracks, chips, or stains.
