Old gravy boat in choisy le roi earthenware, louis XVI style chinon decor, 19th century. On an off-white background, laurel friezes are interspersed with typically louis XVI knots which wrap around everything. Choisy-le-roi is a famous earthenware factory in val de marne founded in 1805 and which operated until 1934. This service can be dated between 1864 and 1892, a period when hippolyte boulenger was the director of the earthenware factory and used this stamp. The cover is very shiny and the colors fresh.
