Superb exceptional duo consisting of a large vase and a matching empty-pocket bowl made of solid Murano crystal, creations by Alessandro Mandruzzato (Italy, circa 1960–1970). This monumental set (over 3 kg of art crystal in total) embodies the best of Venetian cubist design. Each piece is cut with a faceted wheel (vetro sfaccettato) and worked in Sommerso, revealing a smoky grey/anthracite core suspended in translucent clear crystal.
