Murano Sommerso vintage vase – Attributed to Alessandro Mandruzzato – Year

Magnificent Italian vase made of Murano glass, attributed to Alessandro Mandruzzato. Sommerso technique: smoky grey glass enveloped in a thick layer of clear crystal. Elegant elongated silhouette, slightly bulging in the centre, adorned with large geometric facets in the shape of diamonds. Superb cutting and polishing work, characteristic of Italian design from the 1960s–1970s. Estimated period: 1960s–1970s. Height: 22 cm. Base dimensions: 4.5 × 4.5 cm. Weight: 770 g. Very good overall condition, clean, with a tiny scratch on an inner facet and a few fine scratches on one side. No visible chips. No signature or label. A very beautiful piece of Italian artistic glassware, with remarkable effects of transparency and depth. I do not accept returns unless the item does not match the description.
