The ch28p hans j. Wegner armchair, designed in 1951, is an absolute classic and legend. It contains many of the master's characteristic design features. It is the quintessence of functionality, excellent craftsmanship and comfort. Wegner’s passion for creating the perfect balance between form and function is clearly visible in every carefully considered design element. Wegner created an unprecedented dynamic between the slim, wide seat, curved backrest, rounded legs and characteristic armrests. He achieved a similar effect in the equally famous ch07 design.
