An eye-catching easy chair designed by koene oberman and manufactured by gelderland in the netherlands around 1950. A highly recognizable piece of dutch design! This wonderful modernist chair is made from high quality birch wood in a nice light brown colour. It has grey fabric upholstery with a striped pattern to the seating cushions, nicely adding to it’s modern appeal. The armrests and backwards leaning backrest create a very comfortable seating experience as well. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Dealer reference: m26423.
