POLI: Born in Verona in 1935, Albano Poli attended the Napoleone Nani Art School, led by master Pino Casarini, who guided him towards a career as a glassmaker. He initially focused on the restoration of historical stained glass, then developed a distinctive style, combining craftsmanship and innovation. In 1953, he founded Studio Arte Poli, specialising in sacred art, stained glass, sculptures, and liturgical furniture. Thanks to his innovative vision, the company quickly established itself as a reference in artistic production within the ecclesiastical sector. In 1968, he founded Poli Arte, a company that stands out in the landscape of Made in Italy furniture design, with production ranging from glass to bronze, frescoes to mosaics. A. Poli has always maintained a strong link between art and spirituality, reflecting his deep interest in sacred art. He passed away in 2024, leaving an important artistic legacy that continues to influence the world of stained glass and liturgical design. The works of Albano Poli offer a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, with a masterful command of light and colour.
