Unique Victorian Table – 1st half of the 19th century. For sale is a unique, extremely elegant coffee/living room table in the Victorian style, from the first half of the 19th century, made of mahogany wood. The furniture impresses with its classic lines, noble patina and old craftsmanship. All construction details and the condition of the furniture are presented in detail in the attached photos. A round top with a beautiful, wavy, carved edge resembling the edge of a cake. The exposed natural, deep grain of the wood gives it a unique character. The table is equipped with an original, functional brass latch under the tabletop, which allows the tabletop to be tilted vertically. In the 19th century, this solution allowed saving space in the living room when the table was not in use. The structure is based on a turned, grooved column and a stable tripod with hand-carved feet in the motif of stylized claws. Very good condition, the furniture is stable, with visible natural patina of time enhancing the authenticity of the antique, the tilting mechanism is fully functional. Dimensions: Diameter: 60.5 cm.
