Rare PK24 lounge chair (also known as hammock chair), designed by Poul Kjærholm for Fritz Hansen in 1965 in Denmark. This example was manufactured in 1988. The design of this iconic lounge chair is inspired by the French chaise longue, transposed into a minimalist Danish style. The chair consists of distinct elements that form a fluid and harmonious whole: the steel base, the woven steel structure of rattan, and the black leather headrest. This combination of rattan, leather, and steel is characteristic of Kjærholm's sculptural and timeless creations. The PK24 offers optimal comfort thanks to its adjustable cushion and the organic shape of its seat. Marked and in very good condition. L 155 X D 67 X H 85 cm.
