This decoration is part of the great earthenware tradition of the Gien factory, founded in 1821. Inspired by the famous 18th-century Rouen decorations, the Rouen Sainfoin model revisits classic floral and scroll motifs in a rich and refined interpretation. Published in a limited series, this service showcases Gien's historical craftsmanship, renowned for the quality of its glazes and the finesse of its decorations. Very good overall condition, vintage item, retains traces of time and manufacturing (Presence of slight crazing in the glaze, common on old pieces, without affecting the durability.)
