Stunning Venetian style octagonal mirror with iridiscent and mirror glass panels. This glamorous mirror featuring a layered mirror frame made of brass that has three layers of decorative paneled mirrors. The central layer is made of iridiscent mirror glasses with colors in shades from lilac to blue and the internal and external layers are made with small pieces of mirrors placed as a mosaic. The mirrored panels are adorned by decorative hand pressed brass patterns and classical flowers. This vintage mirror is a beautiful example of iridescence and glows with beautiful shimmering colours, blue, pink, apricot and violet, creating a glorious work of mirror art. Handmade in Spain in 1987. The manufacturer information on the wooden back; "MGB, Planilux, Cristanola, Spain" suggests it may be a reproduction of the original Venetian style, which were historically made in Venice. This original and handmade piece, both influenced by the traditional Moorish style of old Spain and the Venetian tradition, will suit any decor or room and add a luxurious, exotic glamour whilst taking on and reflecting the style and colour of its surroundings.
