Octagonal mirror wood with frieze of oves, beveled mirror, 20s 66x86cm

Pretty mirror full of charm of the 20s, in solid wood, stylized based on patterns of oves and a string of small logs. Beveled mirror in very good condition. It has been revamped by its former owner and in its juice it exudes a lot of charm. It is in very good general condition and has a hook on the back for its attachment to the wall. It will be perfect in a corridor to bring light, above a console or in a bathroom... Above a table as a dressing table... For the record: the ove (from the latin egg) is an ornament cut in the shape of a cut egg, which serves as a decoration in the moldings. They are found juxtaposed with one another, wrapped in ribs or graceful shells, separated by arrow irons called stingers or leaves of elongated water. The sculptor sometimes adds a row of pearl above or below the pattern.
