Superb Murano glass ashtray, made using the famous sommerso technique in the 1960s. Attributed to master glassmaker Flavio Poli for Seguso, this model features an amber and yellow heart, enclosed in a mass of crystalline glass. The geometric facets give it a sculptural appearance and magnificent reflections depending on the light. • Origin: Italy, Murano • Period: 1960s • Technique: faceted sommerso glass • Dimensions: width approx. 12 cm • Condition: very good overall condition, slight signs of use on the base, no chips or cracks.
