Large minimalist rare sideboard model B40 by Dieter Waeckerlin for the German manufacturer Behr. The exterior is made of teak, and the interior has a beautifully crafted maple wood interior with drawers, shelves, and delicate pastel blue details. When completely closed, the piece appears to have a flat teak front without doors, and the black lacquered metal base contributes to the exceptionally simple design of this piece. The back has been professionally clad in pyramid mahogany, a wood that is extremely rare today. This modification allows the sideboard to also be used as a room divider. This has turned the design classic into a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. It is in good condition, with minor signs of wear (see photos), and makes an impressive eye-catcher in any mid-century modern interior. Width: 248 cm. Height: 71 cm. Depth: 58 cm.
