Very beautiful pair of Napoleon III period candlesticks with bobeches in brass and black marble, France, circa 1860. Tripod base mounted on lion's paws. Bobeches with fleur-de-lis motif. Very beautifully crafted. The gilding of the brass is very lively with rare traces of oxidation. Some discreet stains and small dents on the marble. These candlesticks have more than 150 years of good and loyal service! Weight 1.450kg Ref 220/25.
