Antique service consisting of 12 knives and 12 forks, intended for dessert or starters. France, circa 1950. Handles made of artificial mother-of-pearl or acetate resembling mother-of-pearl in a salmon pink shade. Metal parts in patinated brass, decorative finishes at the collar. Unmarked silverwork. Length of the fork: 16 cm. Length of the knife: 17 cm. Uniform patina on the metal parts, consistent with the age of the service.
