Set of 12 dessert knives As de Trèfle in their box

Service of twelve dessert knives "As de Trèfle Inoxydable". France (Thiers), circa 1930–1950. Handles made of two-tone natural horn in brown and honey, with a slightly tapered octagonal section. Ferrules and pommels in silver-plated metal, engraved with an Art Deco geometric pattern featuring a framed palmette. Blades in stainless steel bearing the stamped mark "As de Trèfle / Inoxydable", registered hallmark in Thiers. Box made of boiled cardboard imitating brown shagreen, lined with ivory satin, with a brass clasp. Length of the knife: 20.5 cm. Box: approx. 28 × 19 cm. Overall in good condition. Light wear on the blades, consistent with age. Box showing signs of wear on the inner satin. Complete set.
